I appreciate geography as the study of connection between humans and the environment.
My affinity for geographic studies has been enriched by a number of academic networks and work experiences which support community-based development strategies. I appreciate playful graphic design that contributes to effective cartographic presentation of information. I hope to continue to develop these skills while attending COGS for a second year, and as I build experience within the geomatics industry.

Community-minded
I appreciate doing work for organizations who value preservation of natural environments and local communities.
Eager To Learn
Creative, inspired, engaged.
Comfortable building working relationships, learning new software, and exploring new capacity.
Problem Solver
Critical thinker with a passion for patterns, puzzles, philosophy, and practical applications for data processing.
Team Player
I balance multiple projects with ease and collaborate well to create an effective end product with the client in mind.

PERSONAL ART: Handmade Settlers of Catan board
Winter 2013
I enjoy tactile art projects immensely as a supportive hobby for mental health and maintaining playfulness. While living in Edmonton I committed to completing each hex puzzle piece of a complete playable surface for this popular board game. Prior to attending COGS, it was the best map i'd ever made!
