In learning the fundamentals of projections, data management, and organization of spatial information within ESRI ArcMap software, a variety of products were created in replica of existing map styles. These include NTS topographic maps, and data collection projects where the data correction + editing were key components of the project. In completing these works, I have gained valuable skills in data mangement, cartographic placement, and understanding of proper spatial techniques for accurate communication of data for a final product such as this Digby basemap from fall term in 2016.
